Privacy notice
This notice explains how we handle personal information when you visit Placly, contact us or discuss a subscription for your organisation.
Who is responsible
Placly is owned by Parsho.com (“we”, “us”). We determine how information is used for our website, enquiries and business relationships. Where data-protection law uses that term, we are the controller for those activities. You can reach us through our contact form.
A customer organisation controls the personal information it collects through its venue booking service. We process that information on its behalf under the service agreement and applicable data-processing terms. For questions about a venue booking, contact the organisation operating that venue first.
Information we receive
Our contact and demo forms collect your name, email address, organisation and message, together with the type of enquiry and any optional phone number you provide. We also receive information you send in subsequent correspondence. Please do not include payment-card details, passwords or sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.
Website requests can generate technical records such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages, request times and errors. Our enquiry protection uses an IP-based submission counter. If you sign in to the application, authentication cookies support your session; browser storage may also remember interface preferences.
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics on the public marketing website to understand page views, referral sources and website interactions. The tracker can receive page addresses, referring pages, browser language, screen dimensions, link clicks and form-submission events. We do not send enquiry field values to this tracker. Ahrefs describes its default analytics service as cookie-free. See Ahrefs Web Analytics for its service information.
Providing enquiry details is voluntary, but the form needs its required fields to send your request. Without a usable contact address, we may be unable to respond.
Why we use it
We use enquiry and business-contact details to respond, arrange demonstrations, discuss subscriptions and support our customer relationships. Technical records help operate the website, investigate failures and protect it against abuse. Website analytics help us understand which public pages are useful and improve the website.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interests in communicating with business contacts and running a secure service; steps requested before a contract, or performance of a contract, where you are a party; and legal obligations where records must be kept. If an activity requires consent, we will request it for that activity. Sending an enquiry is not consent to unrelated promotional messages.
Providers and other recipients
Enquiries are delivered to the Placly team through our configured transactional-email provider. Vercel hosts the website, and Supabase supports the application, enquiry records and enquiry-protection records. These providers handle information needed for their respective services. The site also requests a font stylesheet and font files from Google Fonts, which can receive technical information about those requests.
Relevant staff and service providers may access information to respond, operate or support the service. We may disclose information when legally required, to address fraud or security incidents, or to professional advisers assisting with a specific obligation or dispute.
Processing locations and retention
Providers may process information outside your country. Locations and transfer protections depend on the provider and service configuration. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, those requirements apply to our processing. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data.
We schedule contact and demo form submissions for deletion from the Placly database after 90 days. Transactional-email providers may retain the copies they process under their own retention policies. Follow-up correspondence, active business-relationship records, security records and legally required records may follow different periods based on their purpose. Customer booking-data retention is governed by the organisation’s instructions and its agreement with us.
Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your personal information. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Use our contact form to make a request. We may need to verify your identity or clarify which records are involved. Rights can be subject to legal exceptions. You may also complain to the data-protection authority responsible for your location.
Demonstrations and updates
Website booking demonstrations use illustrative information; they do not create real bookings or collect payments. Coming-soon AI examples do not analyse your enquiry or make decisions about you. We will update this notice when relevant practices change and show the revised date above. See our Terms for website and subscription information.
